Anyone who uses the Bible in their ministry (or would like to), whether in church, in school, at work, in the community, at home, is warmly invited to this day.

As well as two addresses from Bishop Donald, participants can choose two workshops from a wide range of topics covering everything from biblical living; leading worship with confidence; the Bible in the workplace and in schools; using art and meditation in Bible study; using the Bible with young people and children and in multi-religious contexts . . . and much more!

The day is free (donations are invited to help cover the costs, from those who are able to contribute).

Early booking is advised to ensure your choice of workshops.

QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

As many of you will know, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee will take place this year during the weekend of the 2nd - 5th June 2012 ("Jubilee Weekend"), it will be an extended holiday and celebrations are being arranged in various parts of the country for the whole of that weekend.  There will be special services in our 4 benefice churches on Sunday 3rd June so do keep your eyes on the website, magazines and the church notice boards for further information, but we need your help to make the weekend extra special.

Do you have any special memories from the coronation?  Were there any songs or hymns that you remember singing?  What was life like back then?  Some of our services will include songs and hymns from sixty years ago so please let us know if you remember anything special or any activities that you particularly enjoyed from the coronation.  We would like your input.

You can send any requests or information that you would like to share to either Rev. Shena Bell at The Vicarage, High Street, Raunds NN9 6HS or Ginny Pledger (website manager) to ginny@bugbug40.freeserve.co.uk or contact the Parish Magazine editor Julia Miles on julia.tony@talktalk.net.  Please mark all information as "Jubilee Weekend" and put the name of your parish alongside.

Thanking you in advance.
